If you have rafted the Colorado or other snow melt rivers, you will appreciate the water temperature of the rivers in Costa Rica. They offer the same great thrills but warmer water. Most rafting takes you through rainforests.
If you are on a float, you will get to see all the great sites all the time but if you are on class three and four rapids you will frequently be too busy to look at the scenery.
