Sometimes getting there is half the fun. This humpback photo was taken by a diver on the way to monkey head. We frequently see turtles and porpoise swimming near the dive boats.
You will meet many interesting divers on the way to the dive sites. Sometimes these new friends are the best part of diving. |
One of the favorite spots is monkey head. It has shallow diving for snorkelers and deep walls with a wide variety of corals, crustaceans, and many tropical fish.
For the more adventurous, there is a 60 minute boat ride to the shark island where you can swim with the hammerheads. Usually there are over 50 hammerheads near this island. No one has yet been attacked but there are no guarantees!
This dive is not for any but the most adventurous!
